Holistic Detox- Day 3

Hi Friends,

Hope you’re enjoying the detox so far. We’re almost half way through! Here are some tips that can help you stay focused:

1. Remember, there are only four days to go!

2. Being organised and pre planning meals is essential.

3. If you sway from the program, no worries. Start again tomorrow.

Morning Ritual

5-20 mins meditation

3 pages in your journal

20- 60 minute walk

Evening Ritual

Gratitude List (come up with at least ten items you’re grateful for)

A hot shower or bath

Go to bed early and read something inspirational

Meal Plan

Breakfast- Fruit salad, lemon tea

M/Tea- Green Juice, 500 ml water

Lunch- A green salad with tuna, 500 ml water

Aft/Tea- A handful of nuts and a cup of herbal tea

Dinner- Slow cooked beef stew

Recipe for Beef Stew

500g lean beef (preferably organic)

2 onions

4 carrots

3 zucchini

1 large tin of diced tomatoes

1 bay leaf

2 cloves of garlic

olive oil

1. Finely chop the vegetables and garlic

2. Heat a large saucepan on the stove and add olive oil

3. Add the veggies to the olive oil and the bay leaf, season with salt and pepper and cook for ten minutes, stirring as you go

4. Then add the meat and tomatoes

5. You may wish to add 500ml beef stock (optional)

6. Bring to the boil, and then turn onto low heat, cover and cook for three hours, checking on stew every so often
